Our contribution to the 9th international conference on Renewable Resources & Biorefineries (RRB-9)

The nineth edition of the international conference on Renewable Resources & Biorefineries (RRB-9) will take place from 5th to 7th of june. This year the conference will take place in Atwerp (Belgium). The RRB conference aims to "providing an overview of renewable resources and biorefineries to impluse a biobased ecenomy and to present new developments in this area".

Our group will contribute to this conference with two works:

- Sustainable biohydrogen production with high energy recovery (Colprim, J., Batlle-Vilanova, P., Puig, S., Gonzalez- Olmos, R. and Balaguer, M.D.). In this work we shown the results obtained with a MEC biocathode producing hydrogen and its potential economic feasibility for future applications.

- Bioelectrochemical systems for groundwater bioremediation (Colprim, J.; Pous, N.; Puig, S. and M.D.   Balaguer). In this work we have summarized our published studies on the use of bioelectrochemical systems (BES) to groundwater bioremediation: 

          i) How low conductivity of groundwater could influence on BES performance?
