Patent on bioremediation of nitrate- polluted groundwater.

During the last years our group has been working on the use of Bioelectrochemical systems applied to the treatment of nitrate- polluted groundwater. As a result of our studies, a patent has been called to the European Union. Due to the nitrate contamination of groundwater is a serious concern in our society, the media has been widespreading our results during the last week.
